Dermoneuromodulation (DNM) Seminar
NCBTMB Approved 16.5 Hours

Participants learn about the neurology of pain and pain science concepts applied to manual therapy. Client education for pain management is emphasized, and hands-on applications of DNM concepts are gentle, slow, light, and responsive. Implications for taping and movement are also discussed. This seminar addresses both upper and lower body and is suitable for all manual therapists.

Pain science and dermoneuromodulation concepts enhance
client education, massage, and therapeutic movement based on graded motor exposure. Discussion and demonstration emphasize safely working with people in great pain. The course material is applicable to all forms of manual therapy. This course serves as an excellent entry point for manual therapy professionals who are new to pain science and its applications in their work.

This one-day class introduces important pain science concepts with discussion of how they can be applied in manual and movement therapies when working with people in pain. Hands-on demonstration and practice are included.
